Bloodshed

Today is the day where i spent RM1,095 for:

1) Servicing my car = RM115.00
2) Fixing my punctured tire + tire realigning and rebalancing = RM75.00
3) Car wash = RM10.00
4) Grandma's birthday cake = RM45.00
5) My car's Insurance & Road Tax renewal = RM750.00 (estimated)
6) My room's air-cond repair = RM100.00 (estimated)

Inclusive of the car repair the other day, TOTAL FOR THE WEEK = RM1,515.00. The total excludes my car's petrol & those everyday usage & also my mum's "payback". LOL. Most of it is a once in a lifetime spending but oh well, people say when the luck is not on your side, it will cause u big time and it's ALL in 1 time. But I've always been a positive person so I would think that it is for the comfort & the happiness of everyone i care & love. :-)

Fuhhhh~~~~~ Hope this will last me til next year before the next "calling from the money devil". And I hope it will come not ALL at once. But of course I hope the unnecessary bad luck won't come.

Wishing all of you a Happy Gawai & Happy Holidays! Cheers~ BUT remember, don't drink & drive! :-D

Going for my grandma's birthday dinner soon... Chow~

Hotel-like Office

I went to a customer's office (1st time in this company) yesterday with my senior, Sarah. It's like WOW! Haha!

Brought my car for repair today. It will cost me around RM500 to replace a fender & some paintworks. Sigh...

Monday Blues

Morning... *yawnzzz*

I'm feeling extremely, absolutely, completely, outstandingly, extraordinarily SLEEPY today... *ZZzzzz....*

It's Monday again! But after this Friday, We're gonna have a 4 days holiday (Saturday to Tuesday). It's coz of the Gawai Festival where the natives over here in Sabah & Sarawak celebrate their Harvest Festival. So it's a Public Holiday for Sabah & Sarawak. Plannings in my mind on what should I do for the long weekend. Hmmm... There are a few things I would probably do:

1. Grandma's birthday dinner on May 31st at Lok Garden, Batu Lintang.
2. Watch my HK Drama Series.
3. Maybe visit some Dayak ex-colleagues.
4. Jong's Crocodile Farm visit. (I MUST make it this time!)
5. Sleep~
6. Eat~
7. Sleep again~

I bought 2 Batoks (a kind of fish) last Saturday. With the recent rumour of the mystery caller (which can kill you through the fon with his/her black magic power), my bf has been worried so he says he wanted to keep Batoks at home to shoo away the evils.

And so we went to Sunday Market (should be named Weekend Market) to shop for the fish and it's "accessories". The fish is kind of ugly-looking but it sure is a tough fish. It wouldn't die easily. And people say that if it's dead, means it already helped you to fight evil and sacrificed for you. Hope it's true.

We went to Kenyalang during Saturday night. Bought the Hong Kong Drama Series called Dicey Business. Watched 10 episodes from Saturday night until yesterday afternoon. 25 episodes to go. Haha! It was damn funny that Bobby Au Yeung's face looked like a GOLDFISH when he cried. LoL! Then we went for a peek at a "Snake King" from Ipoh Perak introducing his detox medicine, his cream for burns, his business of snakes, etc. One amazing thing about him, his actions are so real that I think he made around RM500 or more for the night. He told us he is a Chinese Physician back in his hometown. And because of his popularity, even the Japanese went to his shop to drink Snake Blood (believed to clean your blood). He sells everything about snakes. From Snake skin to Snake penis. Yes, Snake Penis. Snake Penis is used to regain your body strength & also your sexual stamina. Not scientifically proven but chinese believed so. I got no comment coz it's weird that he shows us the dried snake penis for all of us to see. I pity the snake coz his dried penis has been flashed to everybody! Tsk tsk tsk... He even showed us his death defying stunt of burning his own hands with a burning metal rope. It's for the purpose of advertising his skin cream that can cool & heal burns. We walked away after the metal rope stunt coz our legs are tired already.

Went to tHe Spring last night with my mum & bro for dinner at The Chicken Rice Shop. Damn it's not as nice as what I've had in KL. I'd rather have Kenny Rogers or KFC instead if I knew. Besides having dinner there, my mum even had her hair cut at Cutting Edge just before we leave the premise. Then we proceed to Unaco, King's Centre coz my mum needs to buy some vegetables for the week.

The night ended not so good coz I don't get a big hug from my bf. :( He went to my house after his cousin's wedding dinner and we were looking at our fishes while my mum keep talking to him about her life, her sacrifices, bla bla bla. We wanted to go up to my room for some cuddling & talking session until it was already too late that we both need to get some sleep. Sigh... It just ends...

I WRECKED My Car

Yes... I really wrecked my car... Sigh...

I was driving home. My bro asked me to call my dad if he wants me to pick him home but he said not yet. So I drove myself home. While I was driving in to the porch, I drove too near the wall that I wrecked the water pipe. I broke it's neck & the whole water pipe broke. Water was everywhere my house porch so I got down & I juz realized, I wrecked my car AND the water pipe. -_-"'
After that, I replaced the water pipe with an old one from the store. Sigh..........

This morning when I came to the office, I parked my car by the roadside so that no one can see my wrecked car. LOL.
Plan to repair it when my bro is going to Perth end of next month but wouldn't it be too long for me to drive the ugly car around? Hmm... Dilemma dilemma... If I send it for repair now, I would have transportation problem. Hmm... Planning to service my car this Saturday but can't coz my bf's having an interview in the morning. We might be having breakfast together. Anyway, we'll see how it goes. May postpone it to next Saturday then.

Salary haven't come out, wrecked my car already. Nvm. Positive thinker (me) says my wrecked car has helped me go through bad luck. So good luck is coming in. YAY!

TGiF today! Happy weekend~!

Hot Hot Hot!

Heylowwwwwwwwwwwww

Hmm... Where should i start... I got a Kacang-mah from my ex-colleague today! Her baby boy is officially 1 month old so it's full moon & according to tradition, the family needs to send out Kacang-mahs to friends & families to appreciate them for their wishes & presents (that's my wild guess)... AND she still look so slim! Gosh...

Last night was quite disappointing to me. Sigh. I went to tHe Spring to collect my specs from Optical 88 (the specs cost me RM500! and it's not as good as what i've expected). As I wasn't planning to buy anything, so i didn't really have the mind of buying anything. Then i went to Padini Concept Store and find the clothes too expensive. Even with discounts for Members & i'm still holding the RM10 discount voucher. So i left the store empty-handed. I don't know why i have this feeling of clothes being too expensive nowadays. I don't have that kind of feeling while i was with my previous company. I suspect it's the stress & pressure that made me feel the way i was. He He.

After that we went to Ta Kiong juz to shop around for some junk food. I bought some biscuits: Arnott's Custard Cream Biscuit & Arnott's Chocolate Coated Biscuit with Mandarin Orange Cream. They're both super nice biscuits. What disappoints me deeply is that I went home & expecting my mum to love the Custard Cream biscuits. She loves biscuits actually but she's scared of sweetness. On our way home, my bf ask if i want to go to his house or juz settle at my house. I said go to my house because i wan my mum to try out the new bisuits. And so i unpacked the biscuits when i got home & transfered them to a Tupperware. Took 1 piece of biscuit for my mum & she rejects. The feeling is like you buy the biscuits & you know your mum will love it. Her comment was, "It's too sweet! I don want!". Duh~~~~~ 1 piece of biscuit will cause you diabetic meh!!!

Disappointingly, and full of anger, i took the biscuits & went upstairs to my room to share it with my bf. So we ate it. We've only eaten a few biscuits coz we juz had our dinner. So i put the leftover biscuits back downstairs by the tv. While putting it there, my mum again commented, "Tak laku lah ur biscuits! (Your biscuits not "sellable") Too sweet! Nobody wanna eat!"l. FUCK! I got angrier this time! I answered, "U don wanna eat, don eat! I give to ppl who wanna eat it!".

Made me regretting of having the thoughts about her with the biscuits. Sigh. Regretting of not going to my bf's house coz his mum would love the biscuits (my assumptions again).

And so the night ends. With disappontments...

Post-Holiday

It's working day again... After the long 3-days weekend, it's kinda "dragging" to go to work... Hmm...

The holidays didn't work out as what i thought. I thought i was gonna go see Crocodiles at Jong's Crocodile Farm or going to the "Green Mountain" Temple with my bf. I ended up sleeping throughout and watching movies & a little bit of shopping. Enjoyed it in a way.

I bought Superhero Movie last Saturday night. Watched it. Kinda funny though as it makes fun of various superheroes like Superman, Spiderman, X-men, etc. The "superhero" in the movie is called Dragon-Fly. The storyline is based on the movie Spiderman. Where the kid got bitten by a Dragon-Fly then he turned into a Hero just like Spiderman. It was quite funny the movie but i think Meet the Spartans is funnier.

Besides, I also played basketball with my bf & frens. I didn't play much as it is a male-dominated game. So most of the time, i sat at the bench watching them play. :) Then i get the muscle-ache on the next day.
To summarize all 3 days in a word, it has been a HOT weekend. Weather is super duper hot hot hot. I pray that it rains tonight.
Chowzzz...

Photos Update!

Photos update! Here is a post to update my frens or anyone about wat I have been doing these past year...

Genting Highlands & KL (09.08.2007 to 12.08.2007)

I was in Genting on 09.08.2007 to 11.08.2007. This is the queue ticket to check-in to the hotel of Genting. The queue (business) of Genting Highlands Hotels & Resorts are superb. Look at the ticket that I was holding. We still have to wait for another 152 customers for them to serve before serving us. But they've got great service that we've only waited less than 1 hour for them to serve us. Keep up the good work there! Then we went down to KL for a night before coming back to Kuching.

This is the game in Genting where i remembered the most. Coz it's the most exciting game that i've played so far. We've also played the game called The Flying Dragon. It's "tummy-upsetting" but it's not as thrilling as this one above. Haha! There are other games we've played like the Corkscrew (roller coaster), Merry-go-round, etc.

Bako National Park (01.09.2007 to 02.09.2007)

This pic was taken on the way to the island (i think Bako National Park is an island by itself). Gosh, i donno the history of my own land. LoL.

After the boat ride, we need to walk towards the place we live. It's quite a distance. The boat couldn't go up til the shore because the land is very high unlike those in Pulau Redang or the East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia & also the tide is very low in the afternoon.

This is the Guide to the trails available in the park. There's nothing much to do in the park except jungle trekking & hiking the mountains(?) or hills. Beware because you can easily gety lost inside. The trails are quite organized i should say. I wouldn't know any better (or worse) ones because this is my 1st time walking inside the jungle & mountain. LoL.

This is us halfway through the trails. Looks like we r all tired (especially me) coz we've all never went things like this b4 & we've never train ourselves b4 the trip. I totally wanted to give up while halfway up the 1st trail. Gosh! LoL.

VICTORY!!! Telok Pandan Besar Beach... He he!~

And..... this is me.... totally FLAT out. Thinking back, I'm such a loser! LoL.

This is the reward for climbing half dead. SUPER WORTH IT! The scenery was so breathtaking!

This is the top of the mountain of i-donno-where. I remembered goin there by boat, we climbed up the trail shown by the boat rider & wallah~~~ We've arrived here. There is a trail that leads to this place but it will take days to reach. like u need to stay/camp halfway b4 proceeding the journey.

Ahhh... This is a picture of sunset... Yeah.... Breathtaking... It reminds me of a song by Zhou Chuan Siong aka Xiao Gang called Huang Hun. But to summarize the feeling, it shows that watever happens to us, be it good or bad, there will always be hope for tomorrow. And watever bad that happens, be glad that it happened & don be sad because tomorrow will always be a better day. ;)

This picture is just too cute not to post. This picture was taken at night while we were enjoying ourselves at hour hotel. While we were playing cards & just relaxing ourselves, suddenly there was a banging sound from in front of our hotel. We jumped up & saw these 2 adult Wild Boars fighting with each other. I donno wat were they fighting for but i think it should be over food (just my wild guess). We were so scared that they will come up & hit us. LoL, Btw, the picture above. These are wild boars; mummy Wild Boar & 2 little baby Wild Boars. They're so cute! We've also given (thrown?) them things to eat. They eat EVERYTHING! We even gave them peppermint sweets, they eat.

This is a picture we took of one of the wild boars the next day. Just look at the nose!

This is a must have pic from Bako. It is the international logo of Bako, Malaysia.

Time to go home...

Overview of Bako National Park:

The scenery was breathtaking, having the nature surrounding us & being proud of the fact that it is a national heritage, makes us wanna recycle more & to help preserve the nature. Besides that, the facilities provided are totally disappointing. The water supply is awful & the food served by the canteen is totally disgusting, dirty AND super EXPENSIVE. I know food & drinks in this kind of place is suppose to be expensive but gosh! Just look at the quality! I'm not trying to pin-point anything or anyone, but since this place is a tourist attraction (organized by the Sarawak as well as the Malaysian Forestry Department), shouldn't it be well organized up to the international standard? I'm not the only one or the 1st one to complain but I saw it in the newspaper & also comments from people around me. made me shameful of the government here & everytime someone asks me about the place, I would say "environment's superb BUT not the food & facilities". The best food there whould be the Burger stall operated by some malays which is only open for supper. Sigh... I just feel so sad for the tourists.

TGiF!

Thank God it's Friday Friday FRIDAY!!

WOOHOO~~~ Boogy woogy! It's FRIDAY!! YAY! Can't wait for the weekends to come! Hehe! Can't sleep well last nite so today must be a little crazy aka brain wire short-circuit. LoL.

Yesterday was a thrilling day for me. Finally managed to get the courage to ask my senior about the Software. It's like taking GUTS to go & ask her a Question. Gosh, why does communication in this company seems so hard! You know, in my company, or probably only my department, everybody seemed so confined to their own PC/Laptop til you can only hear keyboard sounds in the room. See how serious this is? It means all of us are communicating through the online Messenger ie. MSN Messenger, emails, etc. Another reason would be, they don't communicate at all. Hmm...

Yesterday was super hot. I pray that it will rain cats & dogs today for 5 hours (or more as long as it won't cause flood). I pray that it will rain tonite. Enough to cool down the weather (ground) oredi. And also we can sleep like a baby tonite. YAY!

Enjoy your weekend!

It's Thursday!

YAY! It's Thursday oredi! YAY YAY! Friday tomoro & it's gonna be a long weekend ahead coz Monday is Wesak Day! YAY YAY!

Gosh, it has only been 2 weeks in this new company & I'm longing for holidays. Bad sign eh? Heh.

Woke up with a flu today. Made me felt sick & bad mood. Urgh! I hate flu in the morning coz it ruins my whole day... But i took a Clarinase so now hoping my nose (& mood) will get better soon.

Last nite was great. Having my bf with me, juz talking & chit-chatting over everything. That's my usual weekday routine i guess. Makes us understand each other more day by day. Hmm... We flipped through the newspaper for the last 2 days but found no match for his qualification & location for a new job. There's one which suits but it's in Miri. As we do not plan to go anywhere outside Kuching at the moment, so he did not apply for the post.

Despite my family's doing great, my parents' relationship is not doing well. I noticed there has been a cold war between them. They don't talk to each other (i suppose) for quite a while oredi. Last nite, my dad went for his (company?) dinner but without telling my mum about it. Normally my mum would know where he would be going & wat purpose but last nite she kept asking me where my dad's going. I have no idea coz i don care where they're going. LoL.

Ok. Enough for the day. Update later. Good day ahead! :)

I am Happy!

Wow! It has been a long long long longggggggggg time since I last blogged! Hahahaha! Even my account was barred & I have to claim it back from Blogger!
Ok updates from me:

Work
I'm now working with an IT Consulting Firm. This week is the 2nd week i'm here & still figuring out where i'm at in this company. I'm kinda blur. He he. As my last 3 jobs are all Sales/Marketing, this job requires me to sit in the office for the whole day looking at my PC. This office is kinda weird too. Minimal human touch. Maximum technology usage. In this office, I can only hear keyboard sounds as everybody's chatting & doing their things on their PC. Very few ppl actually talk as they can say it through MSN Messenger. LOL. Impressed me. 1st time in this kinda situation.

Love
My personal life has also been improving. We got closer to each other everyday & we have just celebrated our 2 yrs being together.... & counting... Kinda cute. Now me & my bf are searching for a better future. As i have changed my job for a better future prospect, he would also like to change to a better job (better working life, better pay). He still hasn't got any prospect for his job yet despite the interviews he had. All beh ngam eh... If anyone of you have any idea of any vacancy, kindly tell me! His qualification is of Diploma of Automotive Engineering (Mechanical) LOL! Advertising on Blogspot. LOL LOL.

Family
My family has been great too! My mum went for Line Dancing almost everyday. She went with my bro. My dad is still the same. Working & working & working & working. Last 2 weekends, my mum went Lundu SBEU Retreat with her dancing friends. It's great to see my mum enjoying her life while she can... Doing things she likes... hmm... Makes me wanna retire & be like her too.. ;)

Ok back to work. Lunch soon. YAY!
